I love me some Adventure Time, but I’m noticing an ongoing trend that I find just a wee bit unsettling: namely that there’s almost no theme of justice in a series that is more or less packaged for kids. What the math?

Am I the only one greatly disturbed by the latest episode of Adventure Time? Really? Really? (Spoilers and possible triggers below.)
Last week's season premiere was a doozie, and the powers that be wisely decided to take things down a notch with some comic relief. Along with some buoyantly light-hearted comedy, come a troubling implication or two. Spoilers below.
